Description
A powerful red, symbol of Irpinia. Taurasi DOCG “Alta Valle” from Colli di Castelfranci is made from high-altitude Aglianico grapes, carefully vinified and aged for a long time in oak barrels.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red color and releases aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, licorice and toasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with well-integrated tannins and a long, enveloping finish. Perfect with meat dishes, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses.
Nel calice si presenta con un colore rosso rubino profondo, al naso offre sentori di frutti rossi maturi, spezie, liquirizia e note tostate. Al palato è pieno, elegante, con tannini ben integrati e un finale lungo e avvolgente. Ideale con piatti di carne, brasati, selvaggina e formaggi stagionati.
